I couldn't understand how to move the energy in Standing Tai Chi. Can you provide some useful pointers for understanding this better?
Similarly, for Microcosmic Orbit, can you elaborate how does the energy come down the torso and then outwards through palms?
Hello Prashant, You can visualize holding a tornado. I spins one way on the inhale and spins the other way on the exhale. Focus on your finger tips. The Qi is jumping across the gap between them. Feel it as wind rushing around your arms as well as across your shoulders.
The Micro Cosmic Orbit is always challenging. Lean inward and feel the presence of the tremendous high frequency energy that is your spine. Begin simple. Inhale up the back-exhale down the front. Master this before you attempt to blow Qi out of the palms.
This is not easy to do. Practice a long time then practice more. There is no other way to learn.
Complete a routine before sitting with the Micro Cosmic Orbit. Practice each meditation 3 sets to leg tolerance. This is internal Kung Fu there is no short cut. Traditionally one would master the long form of external Tai Chi before learning this internal work. Few have the time or patients to work that hard. I feel people can learn the internal work first if they practice daily with concentrated effort.
The key is imagination. We have allowed digital ease to disguise our imagination. Everyone is imagining everything. We tend to overlook and take for granted this basic building block of existence. Learn to be aware of the invisible world of Qi. Our awareness is not automatic. We imagine our world.
Insight feeds inspiration we the imagine what we believe is possible and develop intention, get involved and that is our life.
Solar Qi Gong is a step away from the mundane visible world of people, places, and things into unlimited possibility of Qi. Imagining these internal Qi circulations enlivens them to be real to you. With practice you will feel it.
But you must practice.
The thinking clinging mind of thought will not believe it. You must develop will.
The Will to believe you are creating your reality through imagination. The gift of practice is Inspiration, Enthusiasm, and Excitement.
Nothing else is needed to fulfill all desire.
“What do you want?” is the eternal question. Discovering authentic desire requires abundant Qi and spacious imagination.
Practice will bring it to you. Daily effort. Not day dreaming.
