Hello Roman, It brings your attention to the area below the naval (the Dantian).
Awareness of the breath is enhanced.
It is one of the many details to pay attention to.
Paying attention to many details at once trains the mind.
Physically it dramatically strengthens the pelvic floor enhancing sexual function.
There are more details.
Perhaps try doing it awhile and see what you think.
Qigong is fun.
Inspiration, Enthusiasm, and Excitement as well as focused Will are the results of practice.
One must practice for results.
Thank you for your interest.
Give practice a try! 🌞
Thanks a Lot William!
I am Feeling discomfort when squeezing the sphincter after the excercises & I want to get good at condensing breathing & I wonder If is a total requirement for condensing in Standing Form or If you can leaves this detail out. I have not seen Master Liao mention this but Gary does.
Basically the question:
Can I condense Into stickman leave squeezing out?
Thank you!
The forms and details are not important. Of course you can Condense with out this detail. I condense a lot all day doing what ever I am doing.
We practice to get familiar with living Tai Chi principals.
Pay attention to what ever details appeal to you.
That being said, I feel this is a fundamental detail.
Thanks William, this is super helpful!!!
When you started condensing at what Point did you start getting clear & Clean sensations of the Jing?
I am doing the condensing it's Lot of imagination & sometimes I feel a Bit of something, but the sensations are quite weak at first, they are apparent though around other people they Seem to ick or up.
How does your condensing feel to you?
Thank you!
We all imagine the feeling. Every “thing” is an image. I find the feeling small getting smaller the large and getting larger. A pleasant Qi sensation.
The feeling is wonderful but the focus is inspiration, enthusiasm, and excitement that comes from practice. This evolves and grows with practice and is the basis of Will Power in a effortless way.
